Summer Camp Instructor
Due to demand we are looking to expand our range of services throughout Dublin,Galway, Cork and bordering counties. We are constantly smart, creative, dynamic people to help fill this demand. We are also looking for instructors who can use their particular backgrounds and interests to enhance the classroom environment. Our instructors have had backgrounds in engineering, education, non-profits, law, the arts. This is a wonderful opportunity to add a distinctive and memorable teaching experience to your resume!

Job Requirements:
Our instructors should have:
2 years of experience working with school-age children.
Flexible schedule: During the summer must be available for at least 6 of the 8 weeks and be available to work from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. (camps typically run from 10am-2pm daily)
Excellent ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Vehicle: Candidates must have access to transport as camps are located throughout the Dublin area, you may also be required to transport our Learn it teaching kits
Must be dependable, flexible and an exelent time keeper
Good rapport with children and parents
The ability to maintain discipline while directing the design and building experience.
Understanding of basic scientific and engineering principles.
Love of tinkering and problem solving.
Futher education in a Engineering field would be a bonus.
An inquisitive, fun-loving personality. We like people who are curious about how things work!
Hours
Classes are usually scheduled between 9:00AM and 3:00PM during the summer. If selected as an instructor, you will start as an assistant instructor while you train, and run your own classes only after you have mastered the curriculum. Expect to work up to 5 days/20-25 hours a week during the summer.
Compensation
We offer an excellent rate of pay which will be details at the interview.
