Science Week 2017 is set to be the biggest yet and there is a variety of events around the country to attend to meet increasing public demand. Science Week 2017 takes place from 12-19 November.
With thanks to support from Science Foundation Ireland, Institute Technology Tallaght and DCU LEGO Education Innovation Studio we will also be running a number of workshops and talks on the 18th & 19th of November in the Institute of Technology Tallaght and Dublin City University, St. Patricks Campus, Drumcondra. Over the two days we will have a range of Engineering and Robotics workshops for families along with talks from Engineering Students and leaders in STEM Education. Come join us and see how LEGO can inspire your children to become the worlds future creators and find out more about how the use of technology in education can prepare your children for future STEM careers.
Throughout Science week (and the weeks before and after) we will be running a range of our aweomse workshops across Ireland. We will be taking part in Dublin Science Week, Cork Science Week, Galway Science Week and Cavan & Monaghan Science Week events as well as visiting a number of libraries and schools over the coming weeks.
#BelieveInScience and #ScienceWeek are part of Science Foundation Ireland’s work to promote the potential that science and discovery offer Ireland, today and in tomorrow’s world.
